Intro to PMC (1/2 Day)
This workshop serves as a basic introduction to Precious Metal Clay. This workshop is not a substitute for a full-day introductory class but you will learn some of the basics and secrets of working with PMC. You will use PMC clay to create at least two pieces of finished jewelry.
Introduction to PMC (Full Day)
This workshop serves as a thorough introduction to Precious Metal Clay. Students will learn the basics and secrets of working with PMC and the many different ways to fire and finish your pieces. You will use PMC clay and PMC sheet to create at least three pieces of finished jewelry.
Glass Fusing with Dichro
Dichroic glass is specially designed to be worked in a kiln. The brilliantly colored dichroic glass is created through the application of a variety of metals, such as titanium and niobium, in a high temperature vacuum furnace. In this workshop you will learn the basics of fusing glass by creating several dichroic glass cabochons suitable for jewelry such as earrings, pendants or brooches.
This workshop is limited to 6 participants.

Open Studio
Open Studio time is available for those who have taken at least 12 hours of instruction by Cathy or other qualified instructor. Studio tools & textures are available for you to practice and explore your creativity. No instruction is available in this workshop but Cathy will be available to assist you with your questions. Open Studio sessions may include firing – check with Cathy prior to scheduling.
Join us Mondays (email to reserve your spot) from 10:00am to 5:00 pm. Cost: $50 per session. Bring your own supplies or buy some from the studio, if available.
PMC3 with Fused Glass
PMC3 is formulated to fire at lower temperatures than PMC standard or PMC+. For this reason you can combine PMC3 with fused glass cabochons to create jewelry. At the PMC3 firing temperature the integrity of your original glass piece is maintained. In this workshop you will create, at least two, silver and dichroic glass pendants using already-made glass cabs.

PMC Rings with Fired-In-Place Gemstone
In this workshop you will create two rings using two different forming techniques, learn the secrets of ring sizing, mold making and setting a fired-in-place gemstone.
Basic Metalsmithing
Learn to create incredible jewelry designs from mixed metals (copper, brass & nickel) without the use of a torch. This class is a great introduction to basic metalsmithing tools and techniques. You will cut, shape, texture and connect metal pieces to form a unique pendant or charm that you will be proud to wear or give.
